I reall don't have much to say about this movie except I found it to be incredible. It has depth that you can't even begin to comprehend in just one sit down. It questions humanity, good vs evil, God complexs and a whole other variety of thought provoking issues. To me, Heath Ledger completely destroyed the Joker played by Nicholson, I mean like Dr.Evil with a panzer on Gold Rush destroyed.Im happy as I grew up reading the comics and always thought the movies were to light and playful. This one hit right at home for me, going back to its dark and foreboding roots.

The screenplay won a pulitzer! All of the actors were knighted and awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom. This movie brought peace to the middle east, and touching the film will cure AIDS. 

 Ha if only, I did suggest going to the movies as a zombie/Heathe Ledger butmy friends rejected that idea.

I am gay for The Joker after this movie. That is all. 

 Man, this movie was just fantastic. It lived up to hype... and not just the media's hype, but the hype that had managed to build up in my brain. Everything I thought this movie should be, it was. The performances by Ledger and Eckhart we just amazing.

If you were on the fence about this movie, go see it. If you like action movies, go see it. If you like a good drama, go see it. It has so many things going on in the movie, it can suit many different tastes. It might even cure that AIDs thing meaty mentioned. I'm just not sure at this point.

There also was a whole lot happening in the movie, and I am pretty sure I will have to see it a few more times to take it all in.

I'm going to go see it tonight with some of my coworkers.  I watched the Batman Begins movie a few days ago, and Ihad forgotten how awesome it was.  Looking forward to tonight. 

I was thinking about rewatching the previous movie as well. To those who have seen Dark Night... do you think having Begins fresh in mind would help? 

 

It would not hurt to watch it, but there is little connection to the previous movie. You get a little charecter building off of the old movie but other than that its not entirely necessary.

I wouldn't say it's necessary, but do you really need to be convinced to watch it again? 

Yes. It's hard to find a two hour block where I'm willing to sit down and watch a movie rather than sit down and play Diablo or TF2. 

 There is history between the Bruce Wayne and Rachael Dawes characters that will be a bit confusing if you had not seen the first movie.

im going to have to say that the Six Flag roller coaster Dark Knight ride can kiss mah ballz. fuckin sucked. so dont ride it if you ever go to six flags.
