It works great on Vista. I have had no problems what so ever exept getting half od my squad killed in the first landing mission.

The good news for those of you who would like to see me start another X-COM thread is that with DosBox, X-COM works pretty well in Vista.  I need to do a bit of tweaking to the config files, but it works.  The bad news is that in my first refresher mission (not a game I planned on keeping for the thread), which had 14 X-COM soldiers going up against 4 aliens, we lost 4 soldiers.

So who wants to sign up?  $1000* (in-game) signing bonus to anyone who volunteers to be first out of the transport!

* Bonus non-transferable and is forfeited upon death**. 

** Yes, that means that when you buy it, along with notification of your death, your family is presented with a bill for $1000.  Plus interest.

 ** Fuck my familly. If they really cared they would have talked me out of taking the "1st One Out of the Transport" job.
